What to submit
If you wish to present a book proposal, please write to our acquisitions editor, by post or email, sending a letter of introduction, curriculum vitae, table of contents, and a prospectus. You may include a sample chapter, but please do not send a complete manuscript unless invited. For proposal guidelines and other information, see our Submissions FAQ.
Unsolicited material
While we welcome your submissions, we cannot be responsible for any unsolicited manuscripts, photos, or artwork. It is not our policy to return proposals, so please do not send originals.
