Make Your Gift Online
The university online giving system is a convenient way to make your secure gift to the College of Psychology. You may designate your contribution to a predetermined selection of funds available or specify another fund by indicating your choice in the comments section of the giving form. Philanthropic Opportunities
A gift to the College of Psychology at IIT can support students, faculty professional development, research, new initiatives and the building of infrastructure. A named fund can be established by a donor or donor's estate to benefit a specific purpose, for example, undergraduate scholarships.

With an outright gift of cash, securities or certain tangible assets, donors can establish an endowed fund, where the corpus of the gift generates income to fund a project or program of the donor's choice. Donors can also opt to make a contribution to an expendable fund, which can be disbursed immediately and augmented with additional contributions at any time in the future. The university has guidelines for establishing both endowed and expendable funds, which can be discussed with the Psychology Development office.

Colleges, buildings, office space and sites on the university campus have been named to memorialize or honor donors, faculty, alumni and other notable persons. If a donor is interested in exploring naming opportunities that will honor a person and benefit or name the College of Psychology or any of its components, information can be requested from the College of Psychology. Planned gifts provide the resources that create extraordinary opportunities and preserve our future. New initiatives and special programs of the College of Psychology depend largely upon your goodwill. To that end, there are a myriad of easy giving options from which you can choose from naming us as a beneficiary in your will to a more complex trust arrangement. Our development staff can assist you in selecting the area of need that best matches your interests and assist you in discussing your gift with your personal financial advisor.

Impact of Philanthropy
Your gifts are greatly appreciated. Every gift, whatever the size, makes a difference. Contributions to the College of Psychology help bridge the difference after tuition income, grants and other revenues are exhausted. IIT is a nonprofit organization and gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Service.
