    Henry R. Linden

    One of the nation's leading energy experts. Linden is known for his research in petrochemical and synthetic fuels processes, including coal gasification. He has been a research professor in chemical engineering at IIT since 1954. He was president of the Institute of Gas Technology, organized the Gas Development Corporation and the Gas Research Institute, and has served as a government adviser in energy research, development and policy since the 1960s.
