Associate Professor John Ronan was awarded the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Award for Architectural Excellence in Community Design for Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School. Christ the King is the first Catholic school to open on Chicago's West Side in 80 years. 1 of 2

Mies van der Rohe Visiting Professor Werner Sobek. Transparent all-glass cube features an open living space with a flexible ground plan and highly insulating triple glazing. A black cube from prefabricated architectural concrete sections accommodates the private rooms. A specially adapted climate concept facilitates emission-free heating and air conditioning. Mies van der Rohe Visiting Professor Werner Sobek. One-story single-family home built in an established residential area. Generously designed glazing serves to provide a spatial enclosure.
