The Camras Scholars Program makes it easy for scholars to get involved in a way that is meaningful to them. Any scholar can propose a new project as long as it embodies the Camras Pillars. Current projects that supported by Camras include:
- IMiEE (Intuitive Models in Engineering Education) is an outreach project whose mission is to deliver compact, memorable lessons to educate children on the discipline of engineering by emphasizing intuitive problem solving, teamwork, time management, and creative thinking.
- URJiit (The Undergraduate Research Journal at IIT) works with undergraduate researchers and several offices on campus to publish a high-quality, peer-reviewed journal. Involvement in URJiit allows you full use of your creative and intellectual strengths, with opportunities to design, edit, and peer review.
- Service events, including the Camras Service Retreat and The Big Event
The Camras Research Committee is working to provide on campus research opportunities for Camras Scholars.
