The Certified Innovation Assessor Training and Certification course provides the necessary tools and techniques for assessing innovation practices in an organization and identifying innovation strengths and opportunities. Illinois Institute of Technology’s Center for Innovation Science and Applications (CISA) (www.iit.edu/cisa) has developed the Business Innovation Maturity Model (BIMM) to assess innovation practices in an organization. BIMM is used in conjunction with other criteria for a comprehensive innovation assessment that determines a baseline for planning and launching the organization’s innovation initiative for sustaining profitable growth. BIMM is designed to help make innovation more pervasive, predictable and profitable.
The Center for Innovation Science and Applications offers experienced and certified innovation experts to conduct innovation assessments and prepare a detailed report that highlights an organization’s sources of innovation and bottlenecks to profitable innovations. Organizations will benefit from the assessment and learn to advance through 5 stages of BIMM which include, Sporadic, Idea, Manage, Nurtured and Sustained.
