    The Chemistry Division (www.iit.edu/csl/che/) at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor to begin in August 2013 in the area of theoretical/computational chemistry with applications to biological chemistry or materials chemistry for energy. For junior level appointment a Ph.D. degree in chemistry or a related field is required and postdoctoral experience is desirable. For senior level appointment a strong and sustained record of externally funded research is required. The successful candidate must establish and maintain a strong, externally funded research program. A commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is expected. Applications, containing a letter of interest, curriculum vita, concise research proposals, and a teaching statement should be submitted electronically as a single pdf to chemistry_search@iit.edu. Junior applicants should also arrange to have three letters of references e-mailed to the same address or mailed to Professor Ishaque Khan, Chemistry Division, Department of Biological & Chemical Sciences, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL 60616.
