Raicu is a Guest Editor for IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems and for Scientific Computing
Assistant Professor Ioan Raicu is a Guest Editor for the Special Issue on Many-Task Computing (MTC) of the IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS), along with Dr. Ian Foster from the University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory and Dr. Yong Zhao the from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. This special issue (June 2011; vol. 22 no. 6) of the prestigious IEEE TPDS journal includes 10 papers selected from 42 full papers and more than 50 abstracts received in December 2009. Professor Raicu is also a Guest Editor for the Special Issue on Science-Driven Cloud Computing (ScienceCloud) of the journal Scientific Programming, along with Dr. Ivona Brandic from the Vienna University of Technology in Austria. This special issue (vol. 19, no. 2–3/2011) includes 7 papers selected from 16 full papers received in November 2010.
