CS Student in Sweeney Todd
CS graduate student Elise Thrasher portrayed the Beggar Woman in 33rd Street Production's presentation of the musical thriller Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Performances were held in the Hermann Hall Auditorium during the weekends of February 10-11 and 17-18, 2012. Thrasher is studying for her PhD in Computer Science and works in the Linguistic Cognition Laboratory, under director Professor Shlomo Argamon.
33rd Street Production is IIT's premiere student theater group. Their presentations have included Little Shop of Horrors, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Arsenic and Old Lace. For information about future productions, see their Facebook page.
