Middle Grades Physical Science Endorsements

Illinois Institute of Technology recruited candidates for a unique Master of Science Education degree and endorsement program. This program was designed for teachers currently holding a K-8 certificate who needed to gain expertise in middle grades science. The program included many innovative aspects including one-on-one interaction with IIT Scientists, experience with cutting edge scientific research, and ongoing interaction with a cohort of science teachers.
Students completed the program in Spring 2011 with the ability to qualify for endorsement in middle school physical science, as well as their Masters in Science Education.
