Biotechnology Specialization
Recent advances in genetics and organic molecules have led to a growth in the field of Biotechnology. Manipulating genetic material of animals and plants is a key to making organisms disease resistant or more productive, both increasing demands of the industry. Students will emerge from IIT with the ability to develop new technologies and conduct research that will have a significant impact on people worldwide.
The program consists of a minimum of 30 credit hours of coursework as follows.
