Need another opportunity this semester to meet with employers about internships, co-ops, and full-time positions? Attend the Fall Career Connections event from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in Hermann Hall (registration will begin at 3:45 pm). This event is open to all students and alumni. (Note: Identification is required for entry.)
Be professionally dressed and bring resumes and business cards. The following are some useful tips for this event:
• Please be sure to consider those companies who are hiring all majors.
• Be knowledgeable of the companies that you want to speak with.
• Practice your 30-second elevator pitch. Employers will have badges to assist you with finding the representative of the organization that you are looking for. You will also have a badge, so there may be employers stopping you for conversation.
• Get an interview. Employers may want to have an initial interview with you at this event so be prepared.
