The Office of Campus Life is looking for next year’s sophomore, junior and senior students (in good academic standing, who have been at IIT for one full academic year) to serve as Peer Mentors as part of the First Year Experience Program.
All first year students will be assigned a Peer Mentor. Each Peer Mentor will have a group of first year students that they connect with over the 2012-2013 academic year. The monthly requirements include weekly contact with the group, and two group outings a month. The group outings can be attendance at any on-campus or Campus Life sponsored event or something smaller (like a meal in the Commons.)
You can complete the application for Peer Mentors here. Applications are due on April 15 at 11:59 pm, and offers will be made following in-person interviews by the end of April.
