Family Weekend is an event that takes place each fall at the Illinois Institute of Technology and is open to all IIT families, faculty & staff. It is a time for our entire IIT community to partake in the same spirit that embraces our students on campus throughout the academic year!

Saturday, October 12
The 9th Annual Pumpkin Launch
1:00p.m -3:00p.m
The 8th Annual IIT Pumpkin Launch will be held at 1pm on Saturday, October 13 on Ed Glancy Baseball Field. Using pumpkin-launching machines they design and build, student teams compete for prizes for distance and accuracy. What sort of designs will win this year’s competition? Catapult, trebuchet, ballista, or something entirely new? You’ll have to be there to find out!
Sunday, October 13
Family Brunch
11:30a.m.-1:00p.m
Join us for brunch on Sunday morning in The Commons, located in the McCormick Tribune Campus Center.
