Eun-Jeong Lee is an assistant professor of rehabilitation counseling in the College of Psychology, Illinois Institute of Technology. Her current duties include teaching two graduate level courses in introduction to vocational rehabilitation and job placement. She also supervises master's degree students during counseling practicum and internship experiences.
Dr. Lee received her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007. She completed a one-year pre-doctoral psychology internship in the Charles G. Matthews Neuropsychology Lab at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and the Mendota Juvenile Treatment Center of the Mendota Mental Health Institute. She also worked for four years as a psychologist in Korea after receiving her master's degree in developmental psychology from the Catholic University of Korea.
Dr. Lee's teaching and service commitment as a professor of rehabilitation counseling/psychology is to enhance the educational and career advancement opportunities of people with disabilities from racial and ethnic minority backgrounds. Her research interests are in the cognitive vulnerability model of depression for people with disabilities, positive psychology and disability, psychosocial aspects of disability, research methodologies, and epilepsy rehabilitation.
