    Scott Morris

What are the best characteristics a person should have for a particular job? How do gender-stereotypes impact hiring decisions and managerial effectiveness? These are some of the kinds of questions industrial and organizational (I/O) psychologists such as Scott Morris seek to answer. As associate professor of Psychology, Morris teaches courses in personnel selection, covering topics such as job analysis, test development and validation, and legal issues, as well as courses in basic and multivariate statistics. His research focuses on the role of gender-stereotypes in the workplace, especially hiring decisions, as well as an impressive body of work on statistical and research methodology.
