Lincoln Academy of Illinois Student Laureate Award
This award honors an outstanding senior from each of the four-year degree granting institutions of higher learning in Illinois.
Student Laureates are honored for their overall excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities. The student must have a cumulative and major GPA of not less than 3.00. Each recipient receives a certificate of achievement and a monetary grant of $500 to cover travel and other expenses.
The winner is awarded the Student Lincoln Academy Medallion and thereby becomes a Student Laureate. Recipients attend a special ceremony held in the House of Representatives of the Illinois State Capital in Springfield, Illinois.
