Program Description
This online summer program offers a unique, immersive experience that is designed to introduce high school students to the foundational concepts of modern artificial intelligence. Students will explore how AI is transforming industries and impacting everyday life. Through interactive lessons and hands-on activities, students will get a behind-the-scenes look at how AI systems learn, make decisions, and solve complex problems.
Schedule
- June 16: Introduction to AI, its definitions, applications, key areas, and the Turing test
- June 17: Introduction to machine learning, basic concepts, approaches, and applications
- June 18: Introduction to deep learning and its application in computer vision, learning, and natural language processing
- June 19: No meeting. Optional homework assignment
- June 20: Exploration of natural language processing, large-language models, and generative AI. Discussion of security, safety, and ethical use of AI

- Exploring and analyzing existing AI areas
