Cyber Security Foundations (Minor)
The Minor in Cyber Security Foundations prepares students to ensure the protection of hardware, software, and data across computer systems. This minor may be combined with a major from another program.
Minors may be combined with a major from another program and consist of at least five courses (a minimum of 15 semester hours).
The Minor in Cyber Security Foundations provides a coherent set of ideas, concepts, and educational experiences in a variety of areas, so students may find that it will enhance potential for professional development and can prepare students to enter the Master of Cyber Forensics and Security program. Students who wish to pursue a minor must consult with the advisers in their respective major departments. Please note that not all minors are applicable to all majors.
