All branches of the United States military are represented at Illinois Tech. The U.S. Navy is headquartered at Illinois Tech; the U.S. Army is based at a partner university, but has an on-campus office as well; the U.S. Air Force is located at the University of Chicago. All three branches serve the entire Chicago area.
- The Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps office is located on Illinois Tech’s Mies Campus.
- The Chicago Fire Battalion Army Reserve Officer Training Corps Program is headquartered on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago, and has an office at Illinois Tech.
- The 195th Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Cadet Wing is located at the University of Chicago.
