Managing the Course Menu

1. Access your Course
2. Click on "Settings” in the course menu

3. Click on the "Navigation" tab across the top. The Navigation area is broken into two sections:

   1. The upper section displays all the tools/areas that are visible to students
   2. The lower section displays areas that are currently disabled and hidden from the student view

   ✏️ NOTE: While the instructor sees a link for “Grades” that links to a Gradebook with all the students scores, each student only sees their own grades in each course.

4. To hide tools from student view, click and drag the tool from the upper section to the lower section of the page.
5. To add tools to student view, click and drag the tool from the lower section to the upper section.
6. To reorder tools, click and drag the tools listed in the upper section into the order you want them to appear in the course navigation menu.
   ✏️ NOTE: You can click the three vertical dots on the right-hand side of each tool to enable, disable, or move them.
7. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page

💡 TIP: Click on Student View at the top of the page to review what the course site looks like from your students’ point of view
