GitHub Classroom

To install GitHub Classroom

1. Contact supportdesk@iit.edu and ask for GitHub Classroom Client ID.
2. Go to your course.
3. Go to "Settings" on the left-side menu.
4. Go to the "Apps" tab at the top.
5. Click on "View App Configurations".
6. Click on the red "+App" button.
7. Open the "Configuration Type" drop down menu and choose "By Client ID".
8. Paste the Client ID that you got from supportdesk@iit.edu here.
9. Submit.
10. Click on the "Install" button.

To use the tool

1. Open your course.
2. Go to "Settings" on the left-side menu.
3. Go to "GitHub Classroom" on the right-side menu.
4. Click on "Choose a classroom to link".
5. Login with your GitHub credentials and start using the tool.
