Lindsay Sheehan is an Assistant Professor and core faculty member of the Division of Counseling and Rehabilitation Science in the Department of Psychology at the Illinois Institute of Technology. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the Illinois. Sheehan teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at Illinois Tech and directs the Chicago Health Disparities Center (CHDC). She has received several funded awards through Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) for community-based participatory research on health disparities. Dr. Sheehan has over 10 years of experience working in community mental health care, including provision of counseling, case management, residential support, and vocational training services.
