There are many areas at Illinois Institute of Technology that require the use of lasers. According to OSHA “The human body is vulnerable to the output of certain lasers, and under certain circumstances, exposure can result in damage to the eye and skin.” Illinois Institute of Technology wants to do everything reasonable to protect the Illinois Tech community from laser hazards.
