- Address the individual and assess the situation
- If the person bleeding apply pressure to the wound
- Administer CPR, if required
- Direct someone to call Public Safety and receive an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Do not move the individual, unless absolutely necessary
- If the scene is unsafe, wait for emergency responders to arrive
