CAEE Seminar: Global Perspectives on Nutrient Recovery

The Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering department will be hosting a seminar featuring, Andrew Shaw, Ph.D. Candidate in Environmental Engineering at Armour. The topic of the seminar will be Global Perspectives on Nutrient Recovery.

Abstract

Human impacts on natural nutrient cycles are significant. Nutrient recovery must be considered in order to redress the imbalance caused by human activity and to provide more resilient fertilizer and food supplies. Many technologies exist for developed and developing countries and an example from each will be presented.
