Matthew Scharpf will be giving a presentation on careers in finance on Wednesday, April 3 between 4:30-5:30 p.m. in DTC Room 470.Matthew Scharpf currently serves as the vice president of fixed income and clearing sales at Eurex. He has also been an account executive for CQG where he sold trading and charting platforms to the financial marketplace. He also worked at Traditum Group as a trader, market maker, trainer, and recruiter. He also holds a BSME from the University of Dayton.

Eurex is an international exchange which engages in the trading of (primarily) European based derivatives and is also currently the largest market for European futures and options. The items which are traded range from Swiss and German debt instruments to European stocks and various other stock indexes. They specialize in offering a low range of international benchmark products featuring open and low-cost electronic access. They also deliver innovation across a whole spectrum of products and services including: Eurex Exchange, European Energy Exchange, Eurex Clearing and Eurex Repo.
