ECE Day Seminar by Dr. Yongyi Yang

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites you to join an ECE Research Seminar. We are pleased to have Dr. Yongyi Yang as our distinguished speaker to give a talk on “Signal and Image Processing in Tomographic Imaging – A Tutorial.” In it, he will discuss the mathematical principle of tomographic imaging and its application to myocardial perfusion imaging with single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). Yang is the Harris Perlstein professor of electrical and computer engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology and an IEEE Fellow. His research interests are in signal and image processing, medical imaging, machine learning, pattern recognition, and biomedical applications.
