Greater Chicago Food Depository Day of Service

Join the Office of Community Affairs for a half day of service on Wednesday, March 15, at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, which is located at 4100 West Ann Lurie Place in Chicago.

We will repack donated and purchased food into manageable sizes for distribution at food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens. In collaboration with Illinois Tech’s Human Resources, your service hours off-campus will be paid. 

Reserve your space to take part in this event online. 

Transportation will be provided from Mies Campus; however, you may transport yourself as well. Please note that you are responsible for all parking fees.

Michael Paul Galvin Tower is the pick-up location for the buses providing transportation. Boarding begins at 7:45 a.m. and departure is at 8 a.m.
