IIT APICS Student Chapter Facility Tour: Aptar Group

The Aptar Group is a family of companies in the global dispensing systems industry, with a focus on consumer packaging. Aptar companies manufacture products in three sectors: Beauty and Home, Food and Beverage, and Pharma. Together these companies have over 13,000 employees and a manufacturing presence in 18 different countries.

The IIT APICS Student Chapter is offering this tour of Aptar's main facility in Crystal Lake, IL. Participants will learn about continuous improvement efforts which have been based on elements of the APICS body-of-knowledge and on the use of Lean principles.
