Join us for the Nambury S. Raju Lecture Series, featuring Fred Oswald, Ph.D., who will give a lecture titled, "Using Big Data in Personnel Selection."

Dr. Fred Oswald is a Professor in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology program within the Department of Psychology at Rice University. His expertise deals with personnel selection and psychological testing in organizational, education and military settings. He currently serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Management, Psychological Methods, and Research Synthesis Methods, and he also serves on eight editorial boards. Dr. Oswald is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP, APA Division 14), Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics (APA Division 5), the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS).

About the Nambury S. Raju Lecture Series
The Raju Lecture Series honors the late Nambury S. Raju, former distinguished professor in IIT’s Industrial Organizational Psychology program and a true methodological expert. The goal of this series is to bring to campus researchers and practitioners who are studying important phenomena using cutting-edge techniques in the area of industrial and organizational psychology. Former speakers include Stephen Guastello (Ph.D. PSYC ’82), John C. Scott (Ph.D. PSYC ’85), Stephen P. Borgatti (University of Kentucky), and Jose Cortina (George Mason University).
