How can we avoid burnout (and support intrinsic motivation) at work, at home, and at play?

Frequently, even highly successful people report feeling burned out in one or more phases of their lives. But can we avoid this fate and sustain high levels of interest or even passion in our lives year-after-year? Associate Professor of Psychology Arlen Moller's research helps to address this question by applying and advancing basic theories of human motivation (e.g., self-determination theory and others), and by collecting primary data in varied contexts and from diverse populations, including: physicians, college athletes, parents, and romantic partners.

The event will be held from 6-9 p.m. EST. The program will begin at 7 p.m.
