One Earth Film Festival in Bronzeville
Register and join the Office of Community Affairs, Modern Landscape Architecture + Urbanism, Department of Environment, Organic Oneness, Bronzeville Black Metropolis National Heritage Area, Bronzeville Winery, One Earth Film Festival, and others as we celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. in Schulz Auditorium at Michael Paul Galvin Tower. We will screen the film Common Ground. Common Ground unveils a dark web of money, power, and politics behind our broken food system. The film reveals how unjust practices forged our current farm system in which farmers of all backgrounds are literally dying to feed us. The film profiles a hopeful and uplifting movement of White, Black, and Indigenous farmers who are using alternative “regenerative” models of agriculture that could balance the climate, save our health, and stabilize America’s economy—before it’s too late.
