Panel on Women in Computing

Assistant Professor of History Marie Hicks will be at the Seminary Co-op Bookstore, along with documentarian Melissa Pierce, to discuss the new book, Programmed Inequality. Hicks and Pierce, who is making a documentary about legendary computer pioneer Grace Hopper, will talk about the history of women in computing during a panel presentation. Afterward there will be a brief book signing. All are welcome, and there is no cost to attend. More details about the event can be found here.
