Description:

Dr. Kathryn Spink, virologist, Director of Pre-Health Professions Programs, and Senior Lecturer in Biology will discuss the history, biology and pathogenesis of coronavirus, including how it is transmitted and treated.  She will also cover some frequently asked questions and suggest reputable sources, such as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) websites, for further information. A Q&A session will follow, which will include representatives from the Student Health and Wellness Center, .

This event is open all Illinois Tech students, faculty, and staff.
