Join Tremco Roofing for a half-day event focusing on the importance of proper building envelope design. Building owners, design professionals, and engineering and architectural students will be able to learn from industry experts on building envelope design, including the roof, walls, and foundation. This seminar will also cover the impact of building code compliance, the most modern diagnostic tools and techniques, the importance of outdoor and indoor air quality, and the legal ramifications of poor envelope design and construction.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Current building codes and how to provide code-compliant building envelope design solutions.
  • The latest diagnostic tools and techniques, including infrared analysis, drone use, and visual inspection, and when to use each.
  • Methods to establish air quality, and understand how to use this information when providing when developing exterior wall design solutions.
  • The legal ramifications of poor envelope design and construction and how to be aware of and avoid these pitfalls.
