“This world holds different meanings and paints different pictures for all of us,” shares Shailee Shah (BME, M.S. EMGMT ’19) during her student speech delivered at Armour College of Engineering’s 2019 Commencement ceremony. Shah adds, “As engineers from Armour, we can all say that we have one word in common: continuous learning and collaboration. OK, four words.”

On May 18, approximately 600 graduates attended the ceremony held at Ed Glancy Field, amid cheers and applause from family, friends, and faculty members.

Shah reflects, “From advanced coursework, working on projects with individuals from various backgrounds, or doing independent research with a professor, I will take the lessons and memories from my experiences with me. All of them have taught me something unique about my capabilities as an engineer.”
