Ashton to Attend International Society of Industrial Ecology

Weslynne Ashton, Assistant Professor of Environmental Management and Sustainability, will be presenting “Integrating Cleaner Production and Industrial Ecology Education in Latin America” at the International Society for Industrial Ecology conference, July 7-10, at the University of Surrey, UK. Both the paper and the poster “The Plant: industrial symbiosis as a business incubation model for sustainable urban agriculture” being presented are part of the Pathways to Cleaner Production in the Americas project. Ashton has also been invited to be a panel member for the Symposium on Industrial Ecology for Young Professionals.
