Chicago Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers Offers Scholarships
The Chicago Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) is offering scholarships to full-time students currently enrolled in an accredited engineering/engineering technology curriculum. The Chapter will sponsor a maximum of $1000 per semester for each scholarship. Additional money from corporate sponsors may also be available. The following three scholarships are available:
William M. Carey Scholarship
- Only applicants from the Chicago Metro area or those with ties to the Chicago Chapter of SFPE are eligible
- Only Undergraduates are eligible
- Students Studying fire protection engineering will be given preference
Un-Sponsored Scholarship - Academic Scholarship
- This Scholarship is automatically renewed for a second consecutive semester if the applicant maintains a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Applicants with high GPA will be given preference
- Undergraduate students will be given preference
Un-Sponsored Scholarship - SFPE Scholarship
- Students studying fire protection engineering will be given preference
- Graduate students are eligible
