Class of 2020: Perseverance Leads to Graduation
Even in the most unprecedented and uncertain of times, Illinois Tech students continue to show the innovation and resiliency that have been the hallmark of our graduates for the last 130 years. When the university celebrates its newest class of graduates on May 16 during a virtual Commencement ceremony, it will honor a group of students who persevered through previously unthinkable challenges to reach a major milestone on life's journey. Their path to reaching this landmark occasion is as varied as the locales around the world that they'll be celebrating from. Eight students—one from each of the university's colleges—opened up about that journey: the biggest lessons they've learned, where they are headed next, and what Illinois Tech means to them.
