Eighty-Eight IIT Students Listed in Who’s Who Among Students

Chicago, December 13, 2005–Eighty-eight students at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) have been recognized among the nation’s outstanding campus leaders in the 2006 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Students were chosen based on academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities, and potential for continued success. They join an elite group of students from more than 2,000 institutions of higher learning across the country.
Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since 1934. Who’s Who is one of the most highly regarded honors programs for college and university students.

Founded in 1890, IIT is a Ph.D.-granting technological university awarding degrees in the sciences, mathematics and engineering, as well as architecture, psychology, design, business and law.
