Illinois Institute of Technology presents the 13th annual Industrial Technology and Management (INTM) Awards Dinner honoring this year’s Outstanding Leader in Industry, John W. Rowe and the INTM graduates of 2007. The awards dinner, which is held to celebrate a leader of local industry, to recognize graduates from the past year and to raise funds for the INTM scholarship fund, begins with a reception at 6 p.m. Friday, May 9 at IIT’s Hermann Hall, 3241 South Federal St., Chicago.
IIT’s INTM programs provide undergraduate and graduate education for students interested in a range of industrial activities including manufacturing, industrial logistics, industrial facilities and energy. “John Rowe’s commitment to local industry, along with his continued role in addressing current energy issues at a national level, serves as an inspiration to our students,” said IIT President John L. Anderson. “This award serves as a way for the university to show our appreciation to a leader who cannot be thanked enough for his dedication to the education of IIT students and the advancement of the university.”
