Module 4: Finding your market
Tuesday, October 17, Friday, October 20

You’ve got your pitch down and your resume is pristine. Now what? Don’t get caught in the online application trap; this workshop will help you to efficiently research employers and determine who is worth your time and who isn’t.

Module 5: Building your network
Tuesday, October 24, Friday, October 27
You can’t start networking unless you know where and how to network. This workshop will give you the tools to connect with contacts and to conduct information interviews. Information interviews are opportunities that give you a feel for what a career or company is like by learning from an employee’s daily activities, without the pressure so often present in a typical job interview. These informal meetings can lead to opportunities for the real deal down the road.

Module 6: Landing the job
Tuesday, October 31, Friday, November 3

All your hard work has led to a full-fledged job interview. Join us to discuss strategies to prepare for the interview and to negotiate salary after an offer has been made. Also covered is an overview of typical U.S. benefits packages and how to weigh job offers beyond the base salary.
