Take Classes at VanderCook College of Music

Whether you’ve been playing music for years or want to learn an instrument for the first time, you can take courses at VanderCook College of Music. Join us for private lessons, or play in the Symphonic Band, Concert Choir, or Philharmonic Orchestra. Registration for Illinois Tech students interested in taking VanderCook classes is open now and continues into the first two weeks of the fall and spring semesters. Taking classes at VanderCook is not only fun and exciting, but it can replace a humanities credit or earn you a music minor.

For the 2017–18 academic year, Illinois Tech has set the fee at $375/semester. This fee covers private lessons on one instrument and as many other classes or ensembles as you would like to take. If you are interested in taking private lessons on more than one instrument in a given semester, you are permitted to do so; however, the fee will have to be paid twice.

Simply complete the Spring Registration Form and Pay Illinois Tech $375 toward tuition, they cover the rest. Stop by the VanderCook Admissions Office located at 3140 S. Federal Street, Room 210 or email lmeyer@vandercook.edu with your completed form and payment receipt. Registration ends Tuesday, January 30th.
