Mr. Anderson comes to IIT after 38 years of experience at UOP LLC, a technology and licensing company for oil refineries and petrochemical companies. He most recently served as Vice President of Marketing, a position that he held from 1996 through 2000.

Mr. Anderson has had a long relationship with Illinois Institute of Technology. For the last eight years, he has been active on the Chemical and Environmental Engineering Advisory Board and currently serves at its Chair. He is a member of IIT's President's Council and has been awarded both the IIT Distinguished Alumnus Award (1997) and the Alumni Award of Merit (1999).
