Li and Cursio Invited to Present Paper at IAEE Conference

Alumnus Kun Li (Ph.D. ‘15), Assistant Professor of Finance at Beijing Normal University, and Joseph D. Cursio, Adjunct Faculty and Ph.D. candidate, were invited to present their co-authored research paper at the 5th International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) Asian Conference in Perth, Australia, February 14-17. The paper “Negative Price in the Electricity Market: Pattern, Volatility, and Impact to Peak Load Demand” explores the pattern of negative and spike prices and their effect on price volatility in an electricity market with diverse locational prices.
