Open faculty position in clinical psychology
Illinois Institute of Technology (Illinois Tech) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in the Clinical Psychology program, beginning August 14, 2017. The position requires a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program and to be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Illinois. We are particularly interested in the area of health, broadly defined, and the person in this position may be involved in developing a health psychology focus at all levels of psychology training. Faculty activities include establishing an independent research program, research mentoring, providing clinical supervision to Ph.D. students, and teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
The Clinical Psychology Program at Illinois Tech is dedicated to a scientist-practitioner model with a balance of research and practice. We have been APA-accredited continuously since 1982. The Department of Psychology has three scientist-practitioner graduate programs, in Clinical Psychology, I/O Psychology, and Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, as well as a growing undergraduate program. Faculty and students work in a collaborative atmosphere both within and between programs.
