Patrick Corrigan named co-principal investigator for international research center
Distinguished Professor of Psychology Patrick Corrigan has been named co-principal investigator for an International Research Training Center on serious mental illness titled “Citizenship, Recovery, and Inclusive Society Partnership.” The Center is supported by the European Commission and is located at University of Strathclyde (Scotland). In addition to Illinois Institute of Technology, the project includes partners from University of Ulm (Germany), the Mental Health Foundation for Scotland, the Finnish Association for Mental Health, NYU, and Yale. Among other things, the center will bring accomplished researchers to Illinois Tech over the next four years to gain experience in mental illness research.
