Career Management Center Updates
IIT’s Stuart Career Management Center is proud to introduce the team of outstanding professionals that will be available to provide expert guidance and support for your career management needs.
Helen Ezenwa comes to IIT Stuart as Director of Stuart’s Career Management Center, with 18 years of experience in the private sector and higher education. For 12 of those years she has been involved in workforce development, and has more than 10 years of experience in sourcing talent at multiple levels and building talent pipelines. In addition, Helen brings expertise in establishing partnerships within business and community sectors, leveraging technology, and curriculum and learning outcomes development. Most recently, Helen was Vice President and Program Manager for technology, finance, compliance, HR, and operations development training programs at JP Morgan Chase. Helen’s previous work experience includes international public policy, alumni relations, and admission recruitment. Helen holds an M.B.A. from Loyola University Chicago with specialization in Finance, Information Systems, and International Business. Shahzad Hussain has previously worked in the Stuart CMC supporting employer relations activity and now joins Stuart as a Career Management Advisor. He will be providing direct advising to students as well as employer outreach. Shahzad graduated from IIT with a masters in Engineering, earned an MBA, and is currently completing an M.Ed. at Northwestern University. Shahzad has extensive work experience both in the U.S. at AT&T Bell Labs, and in India, where he still serves as Executive Director of a system of vocational education institutions. Shahzad’s knowledge of industry both in the U.S. and abroad, his own experience as an international student, and his familiarity with the Stuart CMC make him an excellent addition to the career management team. Shahzad was part of the Stuart CMC team during the Spring 2013 semester and we are delighted that he has returned as a Career Advisor this semester. Shahzad will be available for resume and cover letter review and career advising.
Lee Junkans spent over 11 years in corporate recruiting, including 8 years managing the college recruiting operation at Eaton Corporation and has personally conducted on-campus interviews at 72 universities in the U.S. and Mexico. He then transitioned to career services, where he spent 17 years managing career offices in the business schools at Duke University, the University of Rochester, and Notre Dame, personally providing customized job search assistance to over 3,000 students and alumni. Lee was part of the Stuart CMC team during the Spring 2013 semester and we are delighted that he has returned as our Lead Career Advisor this semester. Lee will be the primary contact for Internship and Co-op (CPT) as well as for employer relations. He will also be available for resume and cover letter review and career advising. Steven Steinfeld has volunteered his time and expertise for IIT Stuart’s Mock Interview program several times in the past and now joins us as a Career Management Advisor. He will be providing direct advising to students. Steven is a career and job search coach, speaker, business consultant, and author of two books, the most recent of which for international students, 3 Steps to Your Job in the USA, will be published in October. Prior to entering career coaching, Steven had a distinguished career in corporate management at IBM and other global technology companies, and as a business consultant and executive coach. He brings his expertise in sales, marketing, operations, strategic planning, public speaking, HR, and recruiting to his work. View Steven’s LinkedIn profile.

Assistant Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs
Effective in June 2013 Ana Rossetti, formerly the Director of Student Affairs, was promoted to the position of Assistant Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs. In her new role Ana continues to oversee the Stuart Career Management Center, the Office of Academic Advising, and co-curricular events and programs including the Advancing Career and Education (ACE) and Professional Communication Advancement (PCA) programs. In addition, Ana is also involved with recruitment and admissions, and oversees alumni relations.
Director of Academic Advising
Effective in June 2013 Nadya Lesova, formerly Graduate Academic Advisor, was promoted to the position of Director of Academic Advising. In her new role, Nadya oversees the Office of Academic Advising and works closely with Program Directors and faculty on academic planning.
