Two Food Science Faculty Recognized for Hard work and Achievement

Dr. Britt Burton-Freeman was the recipient of the School of Applied Technology / Institute for Food Safety and Health 2014 Excellence in Teaching Award. The award, as its name implies, is given to faculty who have demonstrated excellence and creativity in teaching at IIT.

Dr. Kathir Krishnamurthy was awarded the 2014 Sigma Xi Research Award in the Junior Faculty Category. This award recognizes exemplary accomplishments in research, scholarship, and / or artistic achievement by IIT faculty members and graduate students.
